ABOUT ME

I'm Kevin Mull, founder of the CSA Group. I've been helping folks understand their Medicare options for over 20 years. With me you won't get another sales pitch, just unbiased information, advice, and comparisons to help you make an informed decision. I'm an independent agent, which means that I work for YOU, not the insurance companies. And perhaps most importantly, my team and I are always here to answer any questions that you have or help with any issues that may arise after you start using your plan. There is never a charge for my services, so contact me today for your no obligation Medicare overview and needs analysis. I look forward to working with you!

WHAT WE OFFER

MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT INSURANCE

  • Medicare Supplements help fill in the "gaps" in Original Medicare. Also known as Medigap plans, they pick up most or in some cases all of the deductibles and coinsurance that Medicare A & B does not.

  • Even though Medicare supplement plans are purchased  through private insurance companies, the plans are standardized, meaning plans of the same letter must offer the same basic benefits no matter which insurance company sells it. The only thing that varies from company to company is cost. That's why we shop all the major carriers for you, ensuring that you get the lowest rate possible for your plan.

  • There are no network limitations with Original Medicare and/or Medicare supplement plans. To be eligible for a Medicare Supplement, you must have both Parts A and B of Medicare.

MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PLANS

Medicare Advantage Plans, sometimes called Medicare “Part C”,  are offered by private companies and approved by Medicare. If you join a Medicare Advantage Plan, you still have Medicare, but you will get your Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance) coverage from the Medicare Advantage Plan and not Original Medicare.

  • Plans may have lower out of pocket costs than Original Medicare.

  • In most cases, you will need to use doctors and hospitals who are in the plan's network.

  • Most plans have prescription drug coverage built in, and many plans offer extra benefits above and beyond what is covered by Original Medicare.

PART D (PRESCRIPTION DRUG PLANS)

Medicare offers prescription drug coverage to everyone enrolled in Medicare Part A and/or Part B. Signing up for Part D is not mandatory, but if you decide not to join a Medicare prescription drug plan when you’re first eligible, and you don’t have other creditable prescription coverage or qualify for LIS/Extra Help, you will likely pay a late enrollment penalty for the rest of your life if you wish to enroll later on. Each plan can vary widely in cost and specific drugs covered, so it's important to make sure that the plan you choose is the best fit for your unique situation. Other important features of Medicare prescription drug plans we can help you understand are LIS/Extra Help, and the different coverage stages.
